Scenic, landscape and nature photography are terms that evoke places we’ve seen with our eyes.

To describe my Fine Art Photography collection, there’s one word that comes to mind most often - ineffable. Despite my planned location, structure and composition, there’s often a Soul’s nudge with only seconds to act. Pulling me from my thinking mind to my feeling Self - it calls my attention to a new angle, perspective or entire content.

These “ineffable” moments ground me with humility. They sculpt who I am and what I see, somehow perpetuating these opportunities everywhere I travel.

Through my lens of gratitude nature continues to sculpt and paint these pieces of fluidic art, often surprising me with something far greater than what I set out to capture, but only when I listen.

Simply stated, photography and writing saved my life. What began in my preteen days of journaling evolved into a dialogue between myself and That which clearly knows more than I.

In my teens I was blessed with a creative writing teacher/mentor who convinced me to overcome my fear of sharing my written thoughts.

Sensitive to my desired anonymity he promised to type them without crediting me so that he could share them publicly with others.

It was then that I began to realize how many of us share the same “chapters” that force us to either give up or grow.
